Back to the Mountains
(my desk)
(My apartment building, we are the one on the top right. Those things on the roof are solar panels.)

Been back for about a week, moving was a pain but im glad its over. My apartment is sweet, we (me + 3) have a big common room and I recently bought a stained glass lightbulb for my desk lamp that is really cool. It is also really nice having a kitchen - me and my roomates as well as nikki and some of our other friends have been cooking a lot lately at our apartment. We've had pad thai, chicken curry, bison burritos, pork and potatoes au gratin, and lots of cookies and brownies made by nikki and margaret.
Last friday I went on the Colorado College cruiser ride (its once a month, each full moon). About 400 college students on bikes wearing ridiculous costumes/clothes ride down Tejon (the main street of downtown colorado springs) in a sort of insane parade. We then biked to a huge statue and had a little mini dance party, then went back to campus, all told it was wild and fun.
Ultimate Frisbee is starting up and we have a lot of interest from the hippie kids who like to play without shoes on the quad. Ran a pretty intense practice yesterday and they seemed to like it. They are n00bs right now, but hopefully a couple more months of practice and some cleats should get them in ship shape. Also for frisbee - I am excited to come back to nashville for sectionals and to see people. (Sept 17th ish i think). Did a morning workout today at 630 and it was rough.
TPX Game Design - Markham, Andy, Andrew and I along with Alex Juskiezwicz and Forrest ?? make up this game design group. It has been pretty low key so far, mainly skype meetings every once and a while, but I'm hoping that it gets a little more involved soon. We hope to have our first Warcraft custom game stitched together by the weekend, and then we might start working on a story based adventure game.
That's about it, hmm, also recently read Sam Smith's screenplay, Dodge, which was really tight. We started a book club on our other blog.
