Over the weekend Goyo, my roommate, went to an undergound salsa bar where he ran into Eva Mendez. He apparently tried to buy her a drink, an offer which she declined, and then, after much failed flirtation, said she was so beautiful she deserved to be knighted. And by "said she deserved to be knighted" i mean he tapped her shoulders with an imaginary sword and dubbed her lady eva mendez.

The Dhali lama is coming to our school in october and I just bought tickets for it so that should be pretty awesome. I've been playing a good bit of tennis against my friend Maddie who is about the same level as me so thats been a lot of fun. She unfortunately caught swine flu, which has been spreading around my school pretty fast. Apparently the dorms are all connected to the same air system or something so all of the kids quarantining themselves in their dorms are still spreading the germs throughout the building. If more than 15 or 20 % of the school gets it we shut down for the semester and finish all of our classes on line which would be really miserable. There have already been 40 or 50 cases and its spreading fast so I've got my fingers crossed.
